Align the rectifier end cap to the motor casing receptacle, and fulfill assembling (Ref Fig. H3). Use bolt (2)
to secure the rectifier end cap onto the motor casing, and tighten it to torque of 90 inch-pound (10 N.m).
Use screws to secure the annular magnet onto the armature shaft. Fit the inner spring snap ring onto the
end cap, and then insert this into the speed sensor. Secure it with another spring snap ring (Ref Fig. H3).
MOTOR TEST
Armature and motor casing may not be provided separately. It is not recommended to conduct test to
locate the malfunction. If power supply wiring system test indicates that the system runs normally, while
the vehicle still fails to drive or runs poorly, motor may be the only component that malfunctions,
therefore it must be replaced.

Be sure to install bumper spline between the motor input pinion shaft and the spline. Apply little moly
grease onto the male thread of splines. Handle with care such that the motor splines may engage the
drive shaft of rear axle. Align the description point, and install the fixing components. Tighten them to
torque of 168 inch pound (19 N.m) (Ref Fig. H2).
Connect 4 motor wires to the motor (Ref Fig. H6). Tighten the nut to torque of 66 inch pound (7 N.m).
Install the speed sensor onto the end cap.
