Accelerator potentiometer is fixed inside a aluminum box by two bolts, be careful not to damage
the potentiometer for fear of malfunction.
Remove the two pieces of wire connected to the potentiometer with care, and screw off the nuts securing
the potentiometer and pedal box.
Install new potentiometer, be careful to align the potentiometer properly, and do not tighten the set bolts
excessively. Connect the wires.
When the accelerator pedal is in its upmost position, adjust the distance from adjusting cam to pedal,
and lock the adjusting cam. Step on the pedal, and the measured potentiometer resistance should be 5
kohm.
Replace the end cap, floor mat and rocker panel insert.
