The 8900-10G8X-xl I/O module (

) has eight unpopulated XFP-based 10-gigabit
Ethernet ports.

In the default configuration of the 8900-10G8X-xl I/O module, all ports:

Are added to the default VLAN as untagged
•
Inherit the properties of the default VLAN (for example, protocol type and VLANid)
