5 At the edge of the module, rotate the hot-swap prevention latch up and hold it out of the way. Slide
the card the rest of the way into the slot (
see the following figure
).

6 Release the hot-swap prevention latch and verify that the card has engaged the alignment pins and
connector at the back of the card.
7 At the back of the card, align and finger-tighten the captive retaining screws to secure the card in
place (
see the following figure
).

Leave the ESD-preventive wrist strap permanently connected to the switch so that it is always available
when you need to touch ESD-sensitive components.
