Headset/DTMF
The
Headset/DTMP
pop-up window allows to connect a B-Channel
(Speech or 3.1 kHz) to the headset and DTMF tones can be generated using
the keyboard. The volume of the headset speaker and microphone is
adjustable.
The settings here and on the platform are independent but platform
settings may limit level control. For more information, refer to
Adjusting
Microphone and Speaker Volume
from the platform user guide.
Note:
Both, hard and virtual keyboards can be used here. The hard keyboard is
from FTB-1 and the virtual keyboard is from Headset/DTMF pop-up.
The
Connect Headset/DTMF to Channel
button:
Is gray when a
Speech
or
3.1 kHz
call is not active.
Is green when one or more
Speech
or
3.1 kHz
calls are active but not
connected to the headset. This is the default state.
Is black when one
Speech
or
3.1 kHz
call is connected.
The list of channels in the drop down, or the NxM matrix, shows active
Speech
or
3.1 kHz
channels. Other channels including the D-Channel will
not be visible in the matrix.
