Configuring a SyncE Test
3b. Press the interface block to configure the interface, network, and
to see SFP/SFP+ information (optical ports). Ensure that the link
is up and the power level (when supported) is present in the
status bar before proceeding to the next step (refer to
Status Bar
on page 23). Refer to Test Configurator - Interface on page 294,
Test Configurator - Network
on page 299 for more information,
and Interface / Test Configurator - SFP/SFP+ on page 291.
3c. Press the test block to configure the specific test settings. Refer to
SyncE on page 203 for more information.
4. Press the
Timer
tab to automatically start and/or stop the test at a given
time or for a specific duration. Refer to Timer on page 102 for more
information.

6. Press the
Start
button from the right navigation bar to start the test.
(refer to Start/Stop Button on page 245). The Summary result page will
be automatically displayed when the test is started from any
Setup
configuration page. See Summary (SyncE) on page 206 for more
information.

8. When the test ends automatically or is manually stopped, the generate
report pop-up is displayed by default. If required, press
Yes to generate
a report of the test results and statistics. Refer to
Report Button
on
page 262 for more information.
