Discover Remote Button
Under Remote Modules Discovery , configure the following parameters.

Scan Subnet
: When scan subnet is enabled, the local module scans
the subnet to discover remote compatible modules. Compatible
remote modules are:

NetBlazer modules (FTB-860 Series, FTB-880, and AXS-85x)

Packet Blazer modules configured as RFC 2544 or EtherSAM Dual
Test Set in
Remote mode (FTB-8510B, FTB-8510G, FTB-8525/35,
FTB-8120NGE/30NGE, and RTU-310/310G).
The scan relies on the subnet mask information configured through the
Interface - Network
on page 285.
The discovered modules are listed in the table with their IP Address ,
Remote ID
, and
Status
information.
Remote ID
and
Status
are only
available for remote NetBlazer modules. Possible status are:
Status Description
Idle No tests is running. Smart Loopback application is
not selected, not connected.
Looped Up Smart Loopback application is selected,
connected.
Smart Loopback Smart Loopback application is selected,
not connected.
Busy No test is running, Smart Loopback application is
not selected, connected.
Busy-EtherBERT
Busy-RFC 2544
Busy-EtherSAM
Busy-Traffic Gen
Busy-Ping
or
Busy-Trace Route
The specified test is running, connected, or not
connected.
