Interface - Port
Physical Interface

Port : Select either Port 1 or Port 2 .
Note: Only
Through Mode
test supports dual ports and the port configurations
are coupled. Changing the configuration of Port 1 will also change the
Port 2 configurations and vice versa.

Interface Type: Select the Interface Type . Choices are
10/100/1000 Mbit/s Electrical
,
100 Mbit/s Optical
,
1000 Mbit/s
Optical , 10G LAN , and 10G WAN . The default setting is
10/100/1000 Mbit/s Electrical
.
Note:
10G LAN and 10G WAN interface types are only available on Port 1.

Cable Mode:
Select
Cable Mode
if the
Interface Type
is Electrical.
Choices are Auto Detect and Manual . If Manual is selected, go to
the next field and select the type of cable (
MDI
for straight through,
MDIX for crossover).
Note: Cable Mode is not available when Auto-Negotiation is enabled.
