Check that film a is aligned perfectly with film
b, and then make note of the value of the scale
where film a overlaps the front edge of the
white line on the platen.
D
Move film a so that it aligns perfectly along the
film b on the left.
E
After film a is stable, make note of the value of
the scale at the front edge of the white line on
the platen.
If the difference between the values of both
sides is more than 0.5 mm, proceed to step 6 to
adjust the screw with the higher value.
If the difference is under 0.5 mm, proceed to
step 7.
F
Align film a perfectly with film b on the side
that is to be adjusted.
While checking the scale, turn the adjustment
screw clockwise until the difference in the
values for both sides is less than 0.5 mm.
The scale moves from the place that has tension
when the screw is turned.
Fully rotating the screw once makes the value
about 0.6 mm smaller.
