Understanding the gradient
view
During each gradient step, the gradient view displays the temperatures that are applied
in each of the columns of the sample block.

Pausing or stopping executed programs, skipping steps
You have the option to pause, resume or stop the program during a PCR run. You can
also skip individual steps.

The graphical and spreadsheet view highlights the cur-
rent step in blue.

An additional prompt to confirm this selection helps
avoiding operating errors.
If you switch off the device during a pause step, this will be recognized as a power failure
by the software. The software will generate a corresponding error message and record it
in the run log file. Once the device is restarted, the software will resume the program.
