Mirror programs on multiple devices
You can use the backup function to mirror devices. During this process, you will use the
user management to copy the users and their programs from one device to another. You
do not have to create every single user or program one by one. To be able to use this
procedure, both devices must use the same software version.
6.6
Unlocking the lid wheel from a deadlock
When the heated lid is in the highest or lowest position it may happen that the lid wheel
is uncoupled. In this situation, the clutch mechanism works in both directions. You will
then hear the clicking sound when moving the lid in both senses of rotation.
To unlock the lid wheel, use a pen to press down the metal pin on the top of the lid
wheel. This will bypass the clutch mechanism. Take care not to apply excessive pressure.

position

Use a pen to press down the metal pin on the top of the lid wheel (1). Apply only
slight pressure.

Carefully turn the lid wheel
clockwise
until it moves without resistance and you can
hear no more clicking (2).

Release the pin and keep turning the lid further down in clockwise direction until the
clutch mechanisms engages.

The lid attains the ideal contact pressure. You can hear a clicking sound.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to the device due to excessive contact pressure
Excessive contact pressure can damage the device and the samples inside the device.

After reaching the ideal contact pressure: Stop pressing the metal pin on the top of
the lid wheel to avoid applying excessive contact pressure.

Use a pen to press down the metal pin on the top of the lid wheel. Apply only slight
pressure.
