menu

You can handle an MC program or PLC program on the MCU by using a submenu in the

menu. In addition, you can store a program on the MCU into a PC as a file. And you can make
all the user data(all programs, parameters, setting data, etc.) on the MCU into a backup
file, and restore all the user data on the MCU by using a pre-made backup file.

The

menu is composed of the following submenus, whose description of operation is as

follows:

(1) New … submenu

This is a function to activate the editor window to make and edit a new MC program or
PLC program. Store the edited program into an MCU.

* Note) When making a new PLC program, if there is a PLC program in the MCU, then

delete the existing PLC program and make a new PLC program.

(2) Open … submenu

This is a function to activate the editor window to read and edit an MC program or PLC
program in the MCU.

(3) Back-Up

You can make and keep the user data(all programs, parameters, setting data, etc.) of the
MCU as a backup file, and store all the user data of the MCU by using this backup file.

Selecting the “Save” submenu, a submenu of Back-Up, activates a window as above, and selecting
the “Back up” button reads all data from the MCU and creates a file with an extension mcu.
Selecting the “Restore” menu, a submenu of Back-Up, activates a window as above, and selecting
the “Restore” button restores all data of the MCU in the content of a backup file(*.mcu).
