Chapter 7. Operation
- Origin mode: With a manual operation mode, the user can set an MCU operation mode as a
origin mode by selecting the
button.
The origin mode executes a homing return by using the
or
button on the control part with an operation mode to execute the homing return
of an axis.
The homing return is realized by selecting the
button in the -
homing direction of an axis and the
button in the + homing
direction. Pressing a key in the opposite direction of the homing realizes the
same movement of the axis as the jog mode. When the position was lost due to
an error during the movement of an axis or after inputting power into the MCU,
perform a homing return.
②
Automatic operation mode operation part
-
: This is a combo box to select an MC program for automatic
operation in an automatic mode. The MC program selected through this combo box
displays the content of a program on the execution program view part of the
system panel.
-
: Give a command to start automatic operation in an automatic mode.
-
: Give a command to pause operation during automatic operation.
-
: Give a command to clear the error in the MCU when the operation of an MCU stops
due to an error. In addition, give a command to completely stop the automatic
operation.
③
Manual operation mode operation part
-
: Set the distance to move manually in a step mode.
-
: Give a command to start feeding the axis in the - direction in manual operation.
-
: Give a command to start feeding the axis in the + direction in manual operation.
④
Machine position view
The system panel can display one of the remaining distance and the machine position.
-
: Setting a machine coordinate check box changes the
display area on
the operation part into the
display area.
⑤
Execution program view
The execution program view on the system panel is an area to show a program selected for
automatic operation, displaying the reversing
of a program listing currently
under execution during automatic operation.
(2) Teach panel
The teach panel is an operation panel function to monitor or forcedly set the position(P),
velocity(F), dwell(D, E) variable and L variable used for automatic operation.
We recommend execution of a forced setting function for each variable in a manual operation mode,
and forced setting is possible during automatic operation, but malfunctions can be caused to an
MCU, so be careful.
