Temperature control optimization
PID parameters for temperature
control
The mixer vessel temperature is controlled by the temperature control loop (TC_163) in
the local control software. The default PID parameters for the temperature control are
designated for the TCU model A (see
Section 10.4.1 TCU requirements, on page 284
for
the description of the TCU models). The default PID parameters provide a stable mixer
vessel temperature across the full weight range.
If XDUO 2500 Mixer is always used for a specific contents weight, or if a different TCU is
used, the vessel temperature control can be optimized for these conditions. The PID
parameter values shown in the table below are given as starting points for further opti-
mization of the temperature control.
