Disconnect mixer

The mixer must be turned off and a tag-out device attached onto the I/O Cabinet during
installation. The system power switch must be set in the O OFF position, power cord
must be disconnected or the power supply circuit breaker must be switched off.

Computer

An external computer is not required.

Temperature control unit

For temperature control of the jacketed XDUO 2500 Mixer, a temperature control unit
(TCU) is required. See the manufacturer´s manual for specified environmental conditions
and electrical power requirements for the TCU.

NOTICE

The temperature control unit needs to be disconnected before
moving the equipment.

Connection to FlexFactory

A PROFIBUS cable must be installed between the mixer I/O Cabinet and FlexFactory PLC
Cabinet.
