Chapter Six Deactivation
6.1 Overview
This chapter describes the environmental information recommended for the deactivation of EC2-S
Robot and precautions for the disposal of discarded robots. Correct disposal can effectively protect
environment and avoid personal injury.
6.2 Environmental Information
The following table introduces some of the materials used by the robot and their corresponding uses in
the product. Properly disposal of components can prevent health or environmental hazards.

6.3 Discard the Robot
In order to avoid personal injury, remember the following notes before starting to disassemble it,
if the robot needs to be disassembled when it is discarded.
Attention
1. If possible, recycle lubricating oil and grease. Dispose it by authorized
personnel/contractors in accordance with local regulations.
2. Do not dispose of lubricating oil and grease near lakes, ponds, ditches and sewers, or
discharge them into the soil.
3. Incineration must be carried out under controlled conditions in accordance with local
regulations.
4. Spills may form a thin film on the water surface, causing damage to organisms.
Oxygen transmission capacity will also be weakened.
5. Spills may seep into the soil and cause groundwater pollution.
