3.8 Teach Pendant Hot Swap Unit (Optional)
The hot swap function of the teach pendant means that the robot continues its previous running state
without generating an alarm when the robot is inserted or pulled out of the teach pendant during the
running process.
The purpose of the hot swap function of the teach pendant is to realize that multiple robots can share
one teach pendant.

3.8.3 Common Problems
(1) Under what circumstances can hot swap operations be performed?
The robot can be hot-swapped in any running state, and the hot swap operation will not generate any
alarm and change the current running state of the robot.
(2) What will happen if the mode switch of the teach pendant is inconsistent with the state before hot
plugging?
If the state of the teach pendant mode switch during hot insertion is inconsistent with that during hot
unplugging, the robot will stop immediately, and an alarm will be generated after the teach pendant is
started. At this time, switch the mode switch to the state before hot unplugging, and the alarm can be
cleared.
(3) What is the initial interface of the teach pendant after the hot-plug operation?
After the hot-plug operation, the initial interface of the teach pendant is the login interface.
