Operation
Playing video clips
In the Play Mode, you can select palettes and start video clips using the controller for a more intuitive
control.

The [ON] button turns on the [Dual Stream] button and the T-bar controls the [T Bar] slider.
For more information regarding the Dual Stream Mode, refer to “Using the [T Bar] slider to play two video
clips simultaneously” (p. 49).

Turns on and off the [Loop] button.
j.
Starts playback of the video clip before/after the clip that is selected (lit white) or that is currently
playing (lit green).
k.
Starts playback of the video clip selected in the palette area (lit gray). Starting from the left, the
buttons correspond to the video clips in sequential order (when in the 49-key MIDI Keyboard
Mode, the rightmost button is disabled).
l.
Starts playback of the video clip that is selected (lit white). If the currently selected video clip is
currently being played back, then this button acts as a retrigger and starts the video clip again.
m.
Stops video clip playback. The screen turns black.
n.
Turn the ring to select a palette. The palette changes each time the ring is turned once around.
o.
Turn the dial to select a video clip (lights white). To start playback, use either
j
or
l
.
Controlling effects and the color
a.
The button turns the slider on and the slider controls the [Color Cb] slider. When the slider is
turned off, the value returns to 0.
b.
The button turns the slider on and the slider controls the [Color Cr] slider. When the slider is
turned off, the value returns to 0.
c.
The button turns the slider on and the slider controls the [Dissolve Time] slider. When the slider
is turned off, the value returns to 0.
d.
The button turns the slider on and the slider controls the [Audio] slider. When the slider is turned
off, the value returns to 100.
g.
These buttons correspond to the four video effect buttons.
h.
Corresponds to the [None] video effect button. Also, by holding this button down and pressing
one of the
g
buttons, you can enable the video effect only while the buttons are pressed.
i.
Corresponds to the [Defaults] button.
