On-screen component names and functions
Selector
This window appears when the power of the unit is turned on.
This is your starting point for using the Presenter and Editor applications. You can also open the
project management screen and the system configuration screen from the hard disk.

a. [Presenter] button
Click to start the Presenter application. Presenter has two modes; the PLay Mode (p.30) and Edit
Mode (p.34).
b. [Editor] button
Click to start the Editor application. Refer to the DV-7 Instruction manual.
c. [Utility] button
Click to display the Utility window (p.37) and bring up the utilities for managing the projects on the
hard disk.
d. [System Preferences] button
Click to display the System Preferences window (p.38) and view the current DV-7PR system settings
and change them if necessary.
e. [Power off] button
Click to turn off the DV-7PR (p.40).
