Set the MIDI message you will control the video effects with the “VFX 1 Control” pull-down
menu in the V-4 Control (if “OFF” selected, it cannot be controlled using the MIDI device).
Control the video effects with the selected MIDI message.

The range of MIDI values and their correspondences are, 0 to OFF, and 1–127 to ON (or changes
parameters if changeable).
Proceed setup for the remaing “VFX 2 Control” to “VFX 4 Control”.

Set the MIDI message you will control the output fade to the final image output from the V-4
with the “Output Fade Control” pull-down menu in V-4 Control (if “OFF” selected, it cannot be
controlled using the MIDI device).
Control the output fade to the final image output from the V-4 with the selected MIDI message.

The range of MIDI values (0–64–127) correspond to the parameters (lowest–highest value).
You can select polarity of the control at the box in the right. Select “+” for parameters (0:normal
playback–64:50% white out–127:100% white out), “-” for parameters (-127:100% black out–-64:50%
black out–0:normal playback), and “+/-” for parameters (-127:100% black out–0:normal playback–
127:100% white out) to correspond with MIDI control.

Click the [Done] button.
For information regarding the V-4 operation, refer to the Instruction manual of the V-4.
If the V-4 Control function (p. 90) is on, you cannot control the Presenter’s output fade with MIDI devices.
If the control function seems not to be working, disable the control function once by clearing the checkbox,
and then activate the control function again by marking the checkbox.
