Introduction
h. [Audio] button
Click to turn on or off the audio track of the current video clip. Clicking this button toggles the audio
track on and off. When clicked, the video clip is stopped. When the audio track is turned off, the
playback response time is improved.
Use the [Audio] slider to adjust the audio playback.
When the [Dual Stream] button is lit, the [Audio] button is disabled.
i. [Stop] button
Click to stop playback.
You can also reset the playback engine by clicking the [Stop] button again while playback is stopped.
When image and sound synchronization becomes fuzzy, you can reset to get them back to order.
j. [Edit Mode] button
Click to enter the Edit Mode (p.34).
k. Palette list
20 palettes are displayed here. Click on a palette to display its contents in the palette area.
For more information regarding the operation, refer to “Changing palettes” (p. 47).
l. Program output monitor
Displays the video output. When a dissolve is being performed and at other times when the system
is busy, the circumference of the monitor lights red. When the [Dual Stream] button is lit, the
thumbnail for the video clips being played simultaneously are displayed in the program output
monitor (p.49). You can also check the playback situation and the remaining time of the clip at real-
time.

monitor” (p. 45).
m. [Dual Stream] button
Click to turn on and off the Dual Stream Mode. Clicking this button toggles the Dual Stream Mode
on and off. This mode is used to playback two video clips simultaneously and use the [T Bar] slider
to control the dissolve between the two clips. For more information, refer to “Using the [T Bar] slider
to play two video clips simultaneously” (p. 49) on page 30.
When the [Audio] button is lit, the [Dual Stream] button is disabled.
n. [Loop] button
Click to turn on and off looping playback. Clicking this button toggles the looping playback on and
off. When turned on, the video clips playback according to their loop-mode settings. You can
playback a video clip over and over again, or start another video clip to playback, or start a selected
video clip to playback. When turned off, playback stops at the last frame or at an out point. The auto-
playback function (p.70) is also turned off.
