Set the MIDI message you will control the brightness with the “Brightness Control” pull-down
menu in Color/Brightness Control (if “OFF” selected, it cannot be controlled using the MIDI
device).
Control the brightness with the selected MIDI message (the same as the [Brightness] slider at Play
Mode).

The range of MIDI values (0–64–127) correspond to the parameters (lowest–highest value).
You can select polarity of the control at the box in the right. Select “+” for parameters (0–64–127), “-”
for parameters (-127–-64–0), “+/-” for parameters (-127–127) to correspond with MIDI control.

Set the MIDI message you will control the video effects with the “VFX Control” pull-down menu
in Color/Brightness Control (if “OFF” selected, it cannot be controlled using the MIDI device).
Control the video effects with the selected MIDI message.

The range of MIDI values and their correspondences are, 0 to OFF, 1–31 to Effect 1, 32–63 for Effect
2, 64–95 to Effect 3, and 96–127 to Effect 4.
For more information regarding the video effects, refer to “Using video effects” (p. 51).
If the V-4 Control function (p. 90) is on, you cannot control the Presenter’s effects with MIDI devices.
