4.6.1.1 Parametrisation of HP-Z2 transducer characteristic
The pack controller operates with continuous pressure transducers with linear characteristic. The pressure
inputs can be adjusted for various transducers with linear characteristic. Both transducers with current output
(4..20 mA) as well as those with voltage output (0…10 V) can be used here.
For transducers with voltage output, appropriate jumpers must be implemented on the controller, see
chapter
Configuration of the analogue inputs and outputs at the factory, page 90
preconfigured at the factory!
The following parameters are used for matching the controller to the pressure transducer (menu 3-1-a):
HP Z2 transducer
It must be selected here whether the HP transducer has a continuous current output 4...20 mA or a
continuous voltage output 0...10 V.
Parameters for the transducer characteristic of the HP pressure sensor:
HD Z2 Min. Druck at 4 mA or 0 V at the output of the HP pressure sensor
HD Z2 Max. Druck at 20 mA or 10 V at the output of the HP pressure sensor
If any of these parameters is changed, the message Changed Sens. type is output.
Incorrect parametrisation can result in serious impairment of the functionality and stock loss and
equipment damage.
4.6.1.2 Z2 high-pressure / refrigerant Z2 measurement
If cascade operation is active (parameter “Boost./Kaskade“ (menu 3-1) set to “ON”), a refrigerant independent
of the Z1 circuit can be specified for the control zone Z2 (parameter “Refrig.Z2”, menu 3.1).
In addition, the high-pressure of the Z2 circuit can be recorded via a pressure transducer. The Z2 high-
pressure is only recorded if this is enabled via the parameter ”HP-Transducer Z2” (menu 3-1) in the system
configuration. The parameter “HP-Transducer Z2” is only displayed if booster/cascade operation is active.
The Z2-HP transducer is monitored if it is active. In the event of a measuring loop error, the message ”Meas.
error HP Z2" is output. The message priority can be configured.
