Practical tip using the example of the "connection of a pressure transmitter - 1 .. 7 bar": The
indication on the pressure transducer here (> -1 bar) is obviously relative to the ambient pressure.
The adjustment of the pressure transducer in the controller is performed using absolute pressure
values (the absolute pressure cannot be negative). In order to parametrise the above pressure
transducer with the relative pressure indication - 1 bar (at 4 mA or 0 V) and 7 bar ( at 20 mA or 10 V),
the ambient pressure (1 bar) must be added. The input in this example is thus: 0..8 bar.
