Troubleshooting

First, check whether the software update is required. If it is

Power

The handset is not turned on

Cannot charge the battery
The charging lamp does not illuminate or it flashes

microUSB plug of the AC adapter and the handset securely
connected?

For using the desktop holder, make sure that the charging
terminal of the handset is not dirty. If it is dirty, clean the
terminal with a dry cotton swab etc.

If a call, communication or another function is performed for a
long time while charging, the handset may become warm and
charging may stop. Charge again after the handset
temperature lowers.

Is an adapter specified by NTT DOCOMO being used for
charging? Contact the number listed in "Repairs" (in Japanese
only) on the last page or a repair counter that DOCOMO
specifies if you cannot charge the battery even when using a
specified one.

Handset operation

Apps do not work properly (e.g. inability to activate them,
frequent errors)

Make sure there is no disabled app. Try again after enabling a
disabled app, if any.

Becomes hot while operating/charging
・
The handset, battery pack or adapter may become warm while
you are operating or charging the handset, when you watch
TV, etc. for a long time while charging, etc. There is no
operational problem.
