Camera
You can shoot still pictures and videos. Also, you can switch
settings of the camera according to the subject to shoot.
z
Fingerprints, fats, etc. on the lens cause the image to be out of
focus or blurred. Wipe the lens with a soft cloth before shooting
images.
z
You cannot shoot when the battery level is insufficient. When you
use the camera, charge the battery sufficiently in advance.
z
Although the camera is made with high-precision technology,
some pixels or lines look constantly dark or bright. Further, white
lines and other noise increase in images especially when shooting
images in dimly lit surroundings.
z
If the camera lens is exposed to direct sunlight for a long time, the
internal color filter may discolor, creating a discoloration of shot
images.
z
The quality of images may deteriorate when shot or saved after
the handset has been left in a warm location for a long time.
z
Images shot in shooting conditions which include strong light
source such as the sun or a lamp may appear dark or distorted.
z
Shooting the sun directly may impair the performance of the
CMOS.
z
If you keep using the camera with the handset temperature high,
the alert screen appears, the shot data is saved, and then the
camera ends automatically.
z
When the focus settings are switched, sounds are heard from the
camera lens. This is not a malfunction.
z
The color and brightness of the subject in images shot with the
camera may differ from the actual color and brightness.
z
Make sure that your fingers, hair, handset strap, etc. do not
obscure the camera lens when shooting images.
z
Because a larger picture size requires more data, movement in
the image on the handset display may appear slow.
z
Indoor fluorescent lighting etc. may create flickering or streaky
shading on the screen. This flickering or shading may be reduced
by changing the lighting conditions and brightness of the room or
adjusting the camera brightness and white balance.
z
Shot still pictures are saved in DCF1.0 (ExifVer.2.3, JPEG)
format.
z
The camera is not available while watching TV.
