WHAT AND HOW TO CHECK
REMEDIAL ACTION
4-5.
(1)
Check the voltage of terminal YC of PB6 (EAUA--
087703) with a tester (synchroscope).
4-5.
(1)
If the voltage is approx. 0V when the Y-axis is on
the front side of the center or approx.
5V when the Y-axis is on the back side of the center,
the board is normal.
If the result is not so, repair (replace) the board. (If
the Y-axis is at the center, voltage is approx. 2.5V.)
(Also check the connecting cable.)
(2)
Same as in 4-3 (2).
(2)
Same as in 4-3 (2).
(3)
Same as in 4-3 (3).
(3)
Same as in 4-3 (3).
4-6.
(1)
Refer to 3-4.
4-6.
(1)
Refer to 3-4.
4-7.
(1)
Check the voltage at terminal ZD of PB6 (EAUA--
087703) with a tester (synchroscope).
4-7.
(1)
If the voltage is approx. 0V, the limit switch is
normal and therefore check other parts.
If it is approx. 5V, repair (replace) the limit switch.
(Also check the connecting cable.)
(2)
If no fault is found in item (1), check the operation
after replacing the board (PB6) with a spare one.
(2)
If it operates correctly, the board is defective.
(3)
Check for correct operation after replacing PB8
(EAUA--087900) with a spare one.
(3)
Same as in (2).
4-8.
(1)
Check the voltage at transistor Q7 (collector) of
PB6 (EAUA--087703) with a tester (synchroscope).
(Check it in the SETTING-UP mode.)
If the above checking shows normal results, check
the voltage of IC24-7 with a tester (synchroscope).
(Short circuit the main body and the table manually
in the SETTING-UP mode.)
4-8.
(1)
If the voltage is approx. 0V, it is normal.
Check other parts. If approx. 5V, replace the P.C.
board.
When short circuited, if the voltage is 0V, the
operation is normal; check other parts. If the voltage
is approx. 5V, repair (replace) the P.C. board. (Also
check connecting cable.)
(2)
If no fault is found in item (1), check the operation
after replacing the P.C. board (PB6) with a spare
one.
(2)
If there is no change after the replacement, check
other parts. If it operates correctly, the board is
defective.
4-9.
(1)
Check the voltage of terminals XS of PB6 (EAUA--
087703) by a tester (synchroscope).
(Operate X-axis manually so that it moves about
horizontally under the scope.)
4-9.
(1)
Scope sensor and cable are normal if the voltage
changes from 0V to approx. 5V when X-axis passes
the point under the scope. If it remains 0V, repair
(replace) the scope sensor or cable.
(2)
If there is no fault found in item (1), check the
operation after replacing the P.C. board (PB6) with
a spare one.
(2)
If there is no change after the replacement, check
other parts. If it operates correctly, the board is
defective.
