WHAT AND HOW TO CHECK REMEDIAL ACTION
3-6. (1) Check EM STOP switch of Z-axis.
The procedure is the same as in 3-1. (Terminal to be
checked is ZU.)
P.C. Boards: PB6 (EAUA--087703)
PB8 (EAUA--087900)
PB11 (EAUA--023600)
3-6. (1) Same as in 3-1.
3-7. (1) Check if the buzzer sounds (beep), when the
SPINDLE switch is turned on.
3-7. (1) If the buzzer sounds, check other parts. If does not
sound, replace the switch P.C. board. (Also check on
(2).)
(2) Check the operation after replacing PB6 (EAUA--
087703) with a spare P.C. board.
(2) If there is no change, check other parts. If it operates
correctly, the board is defective.
(3) Check the cable connecting CJ2 (PB6) and Inverter
CND.
(3) If the cable is broken, repair it.
(4) If no fault is found in items (2) and (3) the inverter
itself is defective.
(4) Refer to Section 8-3 of Inverter.
3-8. (1) Check VACUUM switch.
The procedure is the same as in 3-7 (1).

(3) Check the cable connecting CJ2 (PB6) and the
magnetic valve (VAV1). (Turn the switch ON and
OFF repeatedly to check if the magnetic valve
sounds (clicks).)
(3) If the valve sounds, both cable and valve are normal,
and therefore check air or other points. If the valve
does not sound either the cable or valve may be
defective.
3-9. (1) Same as in 3-7 (2). 3-9. (1) Same as in 3-7 (2).
(2) Check the cable connecting CJ2 (PB6) and the
magnetic valve (VAV2). (The procedure is the same
as in 3-8 (3).)

3-10. (1) Check the ILLUMINATION switch. The procedure
is the same as in 3-7 (1).

serviceable.
