- OPTION ENABLE

Enter the 10-digit code provided by your Distributor or Datrend Systems. As you
type, “##########” will appear on the screen. Once you enter the correct 10-digit
code, you will receive a message on the screen advising you that the option has been
successfully enabled. In this case, press SHIFT to return to ALPHA mode.
Power-down AMPS-1, wait one second, then power up AMPS-1. Verify the option has
been enabled by pressing the corresponding key on the keypad.

If you mis-type or enter an incorrect code, "ENABLE MODE OFF" will appear on the
screen. In this case, press SHIFT twice to exit and return to NUMERIC mode, then try
again.
