- Editing a Power-On value.
The Power On Editor window (
Figure 69
) will open, containing a drop-down box
which lists all possible settings for the parameter being edited.
Choose the desired setting and press OK to accept, or press Cancel to leave the setting
as it was.
When all desired power-on defaults have been set, press "Set Power On Values". This
will upload the power-on settings to AMPS-1 via the RS-232 serial connection. The
settings will then be stored in the non-volatile memory of AMPS-1.
During the upload,
AMPSpc
will give an indication of progress (
Figure 70
), although
the AMPS-1 display will remain unchanged.
For the settings to take effect, it is necessary to restart AMPS-1. After uploading, reset
AMPS-1 by switching the power off, waiting one second, then switching the power
back on.
