After power-on defaults are saved, the LCD display will appear as shown in

Figure 10

and AMPS-1 will remain in NUMERIC mode. Press SHIFT to switch from
NUMERIC to ALPHA mode.

AMPSpc

companion software, supplied on CD ROM as a standard accessory with

AMPS-1, allows you to program the power-on default settings using drop-down boxes.
Simply make the desired selections, connect AMPS-1 to your PC using the RS-232 serial
cable provided, and upload to AMPS-1.
