15 Enabling Optional Features
15.1 Overview
In addition to the standard simulations provided by AMPS-1 (ECG, arrhythmia,
defibrillator training, performance waves, respiration, pacer and body temperature),
optional simulations may be purchased and added at any time: 2 or 4 Electrically
Isolated BP Channels, Cardiac Output, and Fetal ECG/IUP simulations.
15.2 Adding Optional Features
Contact your local Distributor or Datrend Systems Customer Service at (604) 291-7747
or (800) 667-6557 (North America only). Be prepared to provide your AMPS-1 serial
number.
Upon purchasing the optional feature, you will receive a 10-digit code to enable the
option. This code is serial number specific and will be valid only for the serial number
you provide.
Power up AMPS-1 and select NUMERIC mode by pressing the SHIFT key. Input
three digits corresponding to the option you wish to enable, then press the ENTER
key. The numeric codes for the optional simulations are:
505 BP Channel 1 and Channel 2
506 BP Channel 3 and Channel 4
508 Cardiac Output
509 Fetal ECG/IUP
After inputting the desired numeric code (505; 506; 508; or 509) and pressing ENTER,
the screen of
Figure 74 will be displayed.
