3.5 GOVERNOR SYSTEM
3.5.1 DISASSEMBLED VIEW
The governor keeps the engine speed constant by au-
tomatically adjusting the amount of fuel supplied to the
engine according to changes in the load. The engine
employs an all-speed governor, which controls cen-
trifugal force of the steel ball (13) weight, produced by
rotation of the fuel camshaft (9), and tension of the gov-
ernor spring 1 (2) and 2 (3) are balanced.
