delete mac_based_vlan
Purpose
Used to delete the static MAC-based VLAN entry.
Syntax
delete mac_based_vlan [mac_address <macaddr> | all]
Description
Use this command to delete a database entry. If the mac_address and vlan is not specified, all
static entries associated with the port will be removed.
Parameters
mac_address

The MAC address.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage
To delete a static mac-based-vlan entry:
DGS-3450:admin# delete mac_based_vlan mac_address 00-00-00-00-00-01
Command: delete mac_based_vlan mac mac_address 00-00-00-00-00-01
Success.

show mac_based_vlan
Purpose
Used to show the static or dynamic MAC-based VLAN entry.
Syntax
show mac_based_vlan {mac_address <macaddr> |
[vlan <vlan_name 32>]}
Description
User can use this command to display the static or dynamic MAC-Based VLAN entry.
Parameters
mac_address

Specifies the entry that you would like to display.
vlan
−
Specifies the VLAN to be associated with the MAC address that you would like to display.
Restrictions
None.
Example usage
To display the static MAC-based VLAN entry:
DGS-3450:admin# show mac_based_vlan
