Example usage: 

To set the ingress checking status, the sending and receiving GVRP information :

 When the PVID Auto Assign function is disabled, users must  manually configure the PVID 

for untagged ports or the host may not connect to the Switch correctly. 

 

enable gvrp 

Purpose 

Used to enable GVRP on the Switch. 

Syntax 

enable gvrp 

Description 

This command, along with 

disable gvrp 

below, is used to enable and disable GVRP 

globally on the Switch, without changing the GVRP configuration on the Switch. 

Parameters 

None. 

Restrictions 

Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command. 

 

Example usage: 

To enable the generic VLAN Registration Protocol (GVRP): 

DGS-3450:admin# enable gvrp 

Command: enable gvrp 

 

Success.

Purpose 

Used to disable GVRP on the Switch. 

Syntax
