config time_zone
Purpose
Used to determine the time zone used in order to adjust the system clock.
Syntax
config time_zone {operator [+ | -] | hour <gmt_hour 0-13> | min
<minute 0-59>}
Description
This will adjust system clock settings according to the time zone. Time zone
settings will adjust SNTP information accordingly.
Parameters
operator
– Choose to add (+) or subtract (-) time to adjust for time zone
relative to GMT.
hour
– Select the number hours offset from GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
min
– Select the number of minutes difference added or subtracted to
adjust the time zone.
Restrictions Only
administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure time zone settings:
DGS-3024:4#config time_zone op hour 2 min 30
Command: config time_zone op hour 2 min 30

Purpose
Used to enable and configure time adjustments to allow for the use of
Daylight Savings Time (DST).
