How■to■adjust■temperature■for■keeping■warm
Re-heating■mode■
(If■you■want■warm■steamed■rice■in■keeping■warm■status)

Cooker enters into keeping warm temperature setting mode by pushing steamed keeping warm
/ re-heating button for more than 5 seconds.

Set desired temperature for keeping warm by hour or
minute button.
•
Basic temperature is 74 °C.
•
Temperature can be set to 69~77 °C.
•
When steamed rice is cold or odors oozes in rice, lower control
temperature by 2~3 °C.
•
When rice turns into yellow, then lower control temperature by 2~3 °C.

Temperature for keeping warm is set by pushing steamed
keeping warm / re-heating button or when 10 seconds elapsed
without any button pushed.

Re-heat rice by pushing steamed keeping warm / re-heating button in
keeping warm state.
This mode is only available for keeping warm state. This mode makes
steamed rice under keeping warm and newly made steamed hot. After
re-heating, it’s recommended to eat steamed rice immediately and
cooker continues to maintain keeping warm state.
※ It’s recommended to eat other menus (mixed grains, unpolished rice and
others) than polished rice right after they are cooked. Re-heating them may
cause discoloration and odors
※ If you use re-heating mode too frequently, it may cause discoloration or dried rice.
※ Reheating starts only when the Lid Lock is placed at the Lock position. When
it is at the Open position, a warning sound is issued and the cooker remains
in the Warm mode. If the clean cover is not attached, the product does not
recognize the Lid Lock and its Reheat function does not work.
※ If you push steamed keeping warm / Re-heating button one time, re-heating
is canceled and then it is switched into keeping warm mode.

▶ Cautions■for■keeping■warm
1) Aggregate steamed rice into center by mixing it.
※ Aggregate steamed rice into center mixing it up and down to prevent it from being dried.
※ Do not let steamed rice touched on cap of internal container.
2) Do not put rice paddle cooker when keeping warm is proceeding.
※ Otherwise steamed rice gets hardened and discolored, and it may generate odors.
※ Wooden rice paddle may cause bacteria and consequently generate odors.
3) It’s recommended to set keeping warm time to less than 12 hours.
※ Otherwise, steamed rice may lost flavors and discolored or odors may ooze.
※ Make sure to close cap when keeping warm proceeds
※ Make sure to keep arm only for polished rice. If possible, do not apply keeping warm for mixed grains, unpolished rice or others.
4) Always attach the clean cover when keeping the rice warm or reheating it.
