Set Individual Channels to Current rSO

Baseline in Four-Channel Monitoring
To set an individual channel baseline, press the HOME
key to display the Main screen, then
perform the following navigation bar options:
Select the channel or channels to set the baseline at the current rSO
2
value. This will display an
event mark line and code on the screen in the graph area for the individual channel only.
When finished, press the HOME
key to exit the Baseline menu and return to the Main screen.
Auto Baseline Set
If a baseline is not set for all channels within 5 minutes of first rSO
2
data displayed, the system will
automatically identify baselines and notify the user with an audio tone and the visual message
“AUTO BASELINE SET” displayed in yellow on the upper right corner of the screen. The alarm noti-
fication will last for 5–10 seconds. The Database summary screen will display with the “AUTO BASE
LINE SET—PLEASE ACCEPT OR SET NEW BASELINES” message in yellow (see
the following navigation bar options:
Select
ACCEPT AUTO BASELINES
if the automatic baseline time is appropriate for the procedure
or select
SET CURRENT VALUES
to select current rSO
2
value or values as the baseline or base-
lines.
On the Main screen, the auto set baselines will be displayed in the graph area of each channel,
and status code 21 (AUTO BASELINE SET) will appear in the tabular data and case history outputs.

Patient Identifier in Database Operational Mode
The Patient identifier allows for storing in memory the unique individual patient number. The
identifier allows the operator to locate the stored files. The Patient identifier can be entered at dif-
ferent times during the case when operating in Database operational mode (see
