2010 200 Engine Box Cover/Lifting/Removal
The engine box cover is designed as a two-piece clam shell part. Lift
up slightly on the latch located in the front of the box and open fully
until it rest onto the stern seat. Access to the routine service items is
now available. You can leave the top open to dry out the bilge. To
remove the entire engine box, locate the four threaded pins on the
inside corners of the lower clam shell, twist off the wing nuts and
pull the pins out. The engine box can now be lifted out of the boat.
The engine box is hinged on the back side and uses a single latch
on the front side.
It uses two long pins to hold down the aft corners of the box and
two short pins to hold down the forward corners.
