Removing the Power Switch
CAUTION:
The power switch should not be removed from the switch holder.
Doing so may damage the switch components.
To remove the power switch and switch holder:
1.
Perform the steps in the “Service Preparations” section.
CAUTION:
Before removing the side access panel, ensure that the workstation
is turned off, all cables are disconnected from the back of the workstation, and
the power cord is disconnected from the grounded AC outlet.

Remove the side access panel.
3.
Disconnect the power/LED cable from the system board

4.
Push the release tab toward the drive bays

, then remove the power
switch from the chassis

To reinstall the power switch, reverse the above procedure, pushing the power
switch until it snaps into place.
