to support up to 1-GB. The two RIMM sockets are numbered RIMM1 and
RIMM2, with RIMM1 being closest to the processor. A CRIMM must
populate an empty slot.
The following illustration identifies the physical location of all RIMM sockets.
For optimal performance, populate slot 1 first, then slot 2.

To remove a memory module:
1.
Perform the steps in the “Service Preparations” section.
CAUTION:
Before removing the side access panel, ensure that the workstation
is turned off, all cables are disconnected from the back of the workstation, and
the power cord is disconnected from the grounded AC outlet.

Remove the side access panel.
