Configure background elements
Select the desired background element in the virtual screen preview. The following dialogue ap-
pears:

In the dialogue select
Background Element Type.
The following settings are available for background elements:
Function
Description
Display only
Shows the entered text or the uploaded image with the selected background colour.
Display steady video
feed
Shows the video stream of an external IP camera and the text entered in the field

: In this field, enter the URL through which the video stream of the external cam-
era can be retrieved. For further information about the requirements and video

Jitter buffer size (ms)
: In this drop-down list, the delay of the output of data stream
can be selected (in milliseconds) in order to avoid jitter.
Enable audio
: Activate this checkbox to enable the audio playback (if available) dur-
ing video streams. The volume can be adjusted at the DUETTO device (

Shows the video stream of a connected external IP camera or SIP video during a call.
The following settings are available:
Link for video feed when no call is active
: In this field, enter the URL through
which the video stream of the external camera can be retrieved. For further informa-

Shows user information of the conversation partner during a conversation.
Function
Description
HTTP text polling
Requests an HTTP URL in periodical intervals and shows the received string (if avail-
able) on the button element. This can be used to e.g. display the temperature as pro-
vided by the HTTP server of an appliance, such as a heating control unit. The follow-
ing settings are available:
Link
: In this field, enter the URL through which the value shall be requested.
Poll interval (s)
: In this field, enter the time in seconds in which the value shall be
requested at periodical intervals.
