Call Routing
Choose one of the following options:
•
Single Schedule Call Routing:
The
Inbound Calls
page will allow you to
specify one call routing destination for each routing group.
•
Day / Night Call Routing:
The
Inbound Calls
page will allow you to specify
two call routing destinations for each routing group, one for day (open
hours) and one for night (closed hours). You can trigger the night behavior by
pressing the Force Night button on a phone, or you can enable an
automated schedule on the
Schedule
page. Even with an automated
schedule, you have the option to press the Force Night button at any time to
switch immediately to night mode.
Outbound Calling
Choose an outbound calling option:
•
Allow Outbound Calling from Internal Extensions:
A outbound call can be
placed from any extension. A user must press a steering digit and then can
dial an external phone number. A line will be seized from the available
trunks. You will select the steering digits and assign the trunks on the page.
•
Allow Outbound Calling from Shared Lines Only:
Choose this option to
allow outbound calling only from configured shared lines. A user can select
a shared line button on a phone and immediately dial an external phone
number. A specified FXO line will be seized for the call. You will configure
the shared line on the
Shared FXO Lines
page.
