Adding Licenses
If you have purchased additional licenses to expand your Unified Communications
system, use the
Install Licenses
page to install the license files on the UC 320W.
TIP
Opening this page: From the navigation pane, choose
Updates > Install Licenses
.
To enter settings on this page, click the
Install New Licenses
button. Additional
fields appear.
NOTE
•
To purchase additional licenses, contact your Cisco Value Added Reseller.
•
License files are unique to each device and are not backed up, nor are they
erased during a factory reset.
To automatically register a new PAK ID and install a license from Cisco.com:
If you have a PAK ID but have not registered it to receive a license file, choose
Register PAK and install license from Cisco.com
. This process will register the
PAK ID and will automatically download and install the license to the UC 320W.
•
Product Authorization Key (PAK ID):
Enter the Product Authorization Key
certificate number, which is required to register the product license.

Cisco.com User Name:
Enter a valid Cisco.com username for access to a
restricted area of the website. If you are a VAR or partner, you can use your
own Cisco.com credentials for this procedure. You are not registering the
product at this point.

Cisco.com Password:
Enter the correct password for the username that
you entered above.
•
Email address:
Enter an email address where you wish to receive a backup
copy of the license file. If you are a VAR or a partner, you can enter your own
email address. You will receive a license file that you can use as a backup
copy in case your connection fails during the automated installation
process.
•
Create Cisco.com account
: Click this link if you do not have a Cisco.com
user account. Your web browser will open and will connect to the
Cisco.com Registration page. Follow the instructions to register for an
account.
