used to launch the configuration utility. If you change this setting, be sure to
use the new Data VLAN IP address for future sessions.
•
Subnet Mask:
Enter the subnet mask for the VLAN.
•
Default Gateway:
Enter the default gateway address for the VLAN.
•
Starting IP Address:
Enter the first IP address in the range of IP addresses
that the UC 320W can assign to the connected devices in this VLAN.
•
Ending IP Address:
Enter the final IP address in the range of IP addresses
that the UC 320W can assign to the connected data devices in this VLAN.
A Note About Static IP Addresses:
If you need to assign static IP addresses to servers and other devices, you can use
any addresses that are outside the DHCP Address Range for the Data VLAN. By
default, the Data VLAN network address is 192.168.10.1, and the DHCP Address
Range is 192.168.10.11 to 192.168.10.254. Thus, addresses 192.168.10.2 to
192.168.10.9 are available for static addresses. If you need to reserve more
addresses, adjust the Starting IP Address and Ending IP Address entries.
NOTE
If you host any Internet applications from servers on this network, you will need to
assign a static IP address to each server. For more information about hosted
Internet applications, see
.
