Chapter 8 Managing the Cisco CRS System
Managing CRS LDAP Server Information
Migrating to a Different LDAP Directory
Use the following steps to migrate from one LDAP directory to another.
Procedure
Step 1
From the CRS Administration menu bar, choose Tools > User Management.
The User Management web page appears.
Step 2
Verify that the minimum required users (CRS administrator, JTAPI provider,
RmCm user—see
Requirements to Migrate LDAP Information, page 8-27
) are
specified with the correct passwords in the LDAP directory to which you want to
migrate.
Step 3
Access the Cisco CRS Control Center (System > Control Center) and ensure that
all the nodes in the cluster are operating and the CRS Node Manager service is
running.
Note
If any node is down during this verification check, run the Serviceability
Utility to synchronize the ccndir.ini across the cluster. (For instructions,
see the
“CRS Serviceability Utility” section on page 8-44
.) After running
this utility, restart CRS Node Manager on all nodes in the cluster.
Step 4
Run the plug-in for the required directory in the Unified CM Administration web
page.
This website describes the Unified CM migration process for DCD,
AD, and ND.
Step 5
From the CRS Administration menu bar, choose System > LDAP Information.
The CRS LDAP server information web page opens.
Step 6
Select the LDAP Server Type for the required directory, and this action
automatically populates the sample entries for other fields on this page.
Step 7
Update the LDAP server host name, IP address, or AD domain fields with the
new LDAP directory information in the CRS LDAP Server Information web page.
See
Adding LDAP Server Information, page 8-21
to modify each field as
appropriate and click Update.
The following prompt appears:
There is a change in LDAP server host name
or IP address. Please select one of the following options.
