NOTE: when the parent unit switches on, it
searches for the channel to link with the baby
unit; therefore the indicator light (12) will flash
green and the display will show the icon until a
link is established.

mode or on in Reminder mode.

· The rechargeable lithium-ion battery status
indicator light (13) supplies 3 different pieces of
information:
-Indication that the rechargeable battery (18) is
almost flat:
the indicator light (13) lights up red, starts to
flash and the display (5) shows a flat battery
icon
and, at the same time, a beep is heard
each second.
If you want to continue using the device, it is
advisable to charge the rechargeable lithium-
ion battery (18); otherwise, the device will stop
working. Charge the rechargeable lithium-ion
battery (18) by connecting the mains adapter (1)
to the parent unit power and charger connector
(19). When charging starts, the beep will switch
off.
-Indication that the rechargeable battery (18)
is charging: when charging begins, the indicator
light (13) switches on steady red and the display
shows the icon of a battery with its internal
notches switching on in succession.
Leave the battery to charge until the indicator
light (13) switches off and until the icon on the
display remains steady.
The parent unit can still be used to monitor
sounds made by the child while the rechargeable
battery is charging, but the time required to reach
full charge will be longer.
-Indication that the rechargeable battery is
charged or of operation via mains adapter (1)
without rechargeable battery:
the indicator light (13) will switch off.
· Lit level indicator bar for sounds emitted by the
child (3):
Illuminates progressively from the centre
outward, indicating 3 levels of sound intensity
coming from the baby unit (primarily in
transmitter mode) microphone (8)
Allows parents to monitor sounds emitted by the
child even when the parent unit (11) loudspeaker
volume is switched off.
: the central LED lights up if
sounds emitted by the child are of a relatively
low intensity.
: 3 LEDs light up if sounds
emitted by the child are of medium intensity.
: 5 LEDs light up if sounds
emitted by the child are of a relatively high
intensity.
Display of Temperature detected by the baby
unit sensor
In Baby Monitor mode, the parent unit display (5)
will show the temperature detected by the baby
unit sensor (9).
Under 16° and over 26°, the numbers related
to measured temperature will begin to flash. In
this case, it is recommended to set the correct
temperature level in the child’s room.
Headphones
It is possible to use the supplied headphones (20)
to listen to sounds emitted from the child from
the parent unit. To activate this listening mode,
simply connect the headphone (20) jack to the
audio output (17) on the base of the parent unit.
3.Parent unit internal Menu Management in
Baby Monitor mode
3.1 Accessing the main menu
The parent unit includes a navigation menu,
through which it is possible to set up, activate and
deactivate the parent unit in Baby Monitor mode.
The features included are:
· Vibration Alarm
· Voice Activation Function
· Date and Time setting
· 5 Reminders
Press the button (7) to access the main menu and
choose the functions you are interested in using
by pressing the navigation buttons (8-9).
To confirm set functions and access secondary
menus, press button 7.
Settings saving will be shown on the display with
the appropriate icon.
To exit from the main menu, press the navigation
buttons (8-9) until the icon
is shown and
press the button (7) to confirm.
Note: If while browsing the main menu and all
secondary menus, no button is pressed within
6 seconds, you will automatically exit from the
menu without saving any settings and the display
(5) will show the icons relative to settings made up
until that time (see paragraph 1.4).
3.2 Setting functions
3.2.1 Vibration Alarm function
Activation
Access the main menu pressing button 7. The
Vibration alarm icon will begin to flash on the
display (5). To confirm the your selection, press
button 7.
The possibility to select between “ON”, (“ON”
flashes if this function was previously set) and
“OFF” (“OFF” flashes if this function was not
previously set) will appear on the display. To set
the function, select “ON” with the navigation
buttons (8-9) and confirm with button 7. You will
automatically exit from the menu. The display (5)
will show the operating icon
and you will feel
a short vibration on the unit.
Deactivation
Access the main menu via the button (7).
The Vibration alarm icon will begin to flash on the
display (5). Confirm selection with the button (7).
The possibility to select between “ON”, (“ON”
flashes if this function was previously set) and
“OFF” (“OFF” flashes if this function was not
previously set) will appear on the display. To
