This command will display the setting of a single S-register where

is the S-register location to be examined.
The
&O
command selects the format for this display.

Set an S-Register to a Value
This command will set an S-register content to a new value.

where
n
is the S-register location and
xxx
is the new
value in decimal (prefix it with > for hexadecimal).

Front Panel Switch Control
This command allows you to disable the front panel switches and
re-program the
AL
button to perform different functions.

Front panel switches disabled.
&S1
Front panel switches enabled with
AL
selecting an
analogue loop. Default.
&S2
Front panel switches enabled with
AL
busying the
telephone line.
&S3
Front panel switches enabled with
AL
selecting an
analogue loop and busying the telephone line.
Busying means that the modem seizes the telephone line but does
not go on-line. This disables the modem from answering a call.
Information on analogue loop is given in Chapter 7.

Display S-Register Summary
This command will display the values of all S-registers in the
format selected by the
&O
command. The display may include some
registers not used by this modem. See Chapter 9. For
