The touch panel display is completely black.

The main power has not been turned ON, or the machine may have entered the Auto Sleep mode to save energy. Follow the procedure 
below.

Turning the Main Power ON:

1.   Check whether the power plug is firmly inserted into the outlet.
2.   Open the main power switch cover located on the right side of the machine and 

switch the main power switch to the "I" side to turn the power ON.

Recovering from the Auto Sleep Mode:

Press the control panel power switch.

For more information on sleep mode, see e-Manual > Basic Operations.
Follow the procedure below to change the Auto Sleep Time.
