B. Safety of Toner
Toner is a non-toxic material consisting of
plastic, iron, and small amounts of dye.
If toner comes into contact with the skin or
clothing, remove it with dry tissue and wash with
water.
Do not use hot water, as such will turn the
toner into gel and cause it to fuse with the fibers
of the cloth. Further, do not bring toner into con-
tact with plastic material, as such will initiate
chemical reaction.
Caution:
Do not dispose of toner in fire. It may
explode.
